Deed Bk H p. 381 James SHAWLER and the heirs of Jacob and Mary SHAWLER, Deceased and also his deceased brother Michael SHAWLER and Jacob HUFFMAN and Catherine his wife, late Catherine SHAWLER, heir as aforesaid of one part and William SHAWLER of the other part.... for and consideration of one hundred and fifty dollars each to them in hand the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, they the said James SHAWLER and HUFFMAN and wife have sold andby these presents they do sell and convey to William SHAWLER and his heirs forever all their undivided interest, right and title which they have and own in and to the two following tracts of Land lying in Bullitt County, Kentucky - one containing six hundred and seventy seven acres more or less being the home tract on which said Jacob SHAWLER dec’d seized lying on Cane Run. Also their interest and right in another tract of one hundred and ten acres more or less called the Scuffle Town tract on the waters of Wilson Creek - and since the death of said Jacob SHAWLER one of his children, Michael SHAWLER died without issue and intestate whereby his interes in said lands passed to his brothers and sisters and the said interest which James and HUFFMAN and wife acquired and said Lands by the Death of said Michael SHAWLER is here sold and conveyed and they the said Jacob SHAWLER and HUFFMAN and wife do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said William SHAWLER and his heirs forever against the claims of all persons whatsoever claiming by through or under him or other of their heirs aforesaid - Witness the hands and seals of said grantors James SHAWLER and Jacob HUFFMAN and wife, the date first herein written.
