Seeking inf. on the names HOCKER, KERSEY, TEATER.  Zorado Jane HOCKER b: 10 Apr 
1841 Garrard Co. d: 29 Apr 1880 Garrard Co.  m: William C. TEATER 9 Sep 1858 
Jessamine Co., KY (also listed in Garrard Co., KY). I have background on the 
TEATER line; however, I show Clayton HOCKER as father of Zorado since he signed 
as bondsman on her marriage.  I found Clayton HOCKER m: Martha Ann KERSEY on 28 
May 1838 Garrard Co., KY & he is later shown with a wife Elizabeth.  Need 
parents of Clayton HOCKER & names of other children.  I found a birth of a Clara 
F.A. HOCKER on 20 May 1852 Garrard Co.; however, Clayton is shown alone on the 
1860 Census Jessamine Co., KY next to Wm. TETER & Zorado J. & son Clayton N.  
1870 Jessamine Co., KY Census shows Clayton (55),Elizabeth (31). I'm only 
assuming Clayton is father of Zorado Jane HOCKER since he signed as bondsman at 
her marriage; however, it did not state he was her father. Will appreciate any 
help given re: Clayton HOCKER and his parents.  Also, if anyone has definiate 
information showing him as father of Zorado.

I am doing research on the CLEMENTS side of my family. Thomas CLEMENTS married 
Sindicey HARRIS August 02, 1822 in Garrard County, Ky. Children: America, July 
21, 1823, Garrard Co. Ky; Louisiana, July 16, 1826, Garrard Co. Ky.; James A., 
Nov. 18, 1828, Garrard Co. Ky. They then moved to Illinois where they had 6 more 
children. Before the CLEMENTS family moved to Ky., they were living in Amherst 
Co., Virginia. George CLEMENTS (Thomas' father) was enlisted in the 13th 
Regiment Kentucky Militia in the War of 1812. He was captured and taken 
prisioner and later paroled. Would like info on this militia if anyone would 
know.

I am looking for information on ROBERT TODD b.1790 - 1796 in Washington Co . 
VIrginia. Don't know at this point who his wife was but its listed as her being 
born in Indiana. In 1860 Robert was 70 years old according to Fed. census and 
was living with grand daughtaer Jane Todd Clonch daughter of Elijah Todd. Listed 
him as being born in Virginia. ROBERT TODD was a brother to Anderson Todd, Henry 
TOdd and Thomas Todd all borned in Va. Possibly Brother to Andrew Todd, William 
Todd, Richard Todd. Thomas later moved to Illinois about 1851. Andrew Todd died 
in 1876 in Pulaski Co. and was listed 75 yrs old. Parents were William and 
Elizabeth Todd could be parents of Robert Todd also. I am also looking for 
information on his sonSilas Todd born in Indiana 1822 - 1824 . He married Sarah 
Douglas from Pulaski co. Ky on 8-9-1843. Silas served in the Civil War. He 
signed up at Camp CLio in KY. and he became a part of Co. B

April, 1822, in Garrard Co., Ky., the son of Henry HURT and Nancy DANCEY (?). He 
married first a lady by the name of CASEY. She died and he remarried to Eliza 
Ann YATER in Garrard Co., Ky. on 27 June, 1854. He had a daughter, Sallie Belle 
HURT born 19 November, 1865, who married John Wesley TATEM (TATUM). John 
Harrison Hurt died 13 January, 1908. Any help locating his gravesite will be

Searching for parents of Thomas Ivory RUNYON (often recorded as Thomas J. 
Runyon), born 1814 in Tennessee(?). Recorded in Barren County census records in 
1840, 1850. Also searching for children and ancestry of Freeman RUNYON (who may 
be Thomas' father) born 1760 in Virginia. He was a resident of Gerrard County in 
1810 and Barren County from at least 1830 through 1850. He may have died shortly 
after the 1850 census. Any info on the other Runyons of Barren County (including 
Barefoot) and on Phineas (of Madison and Barren Counties) would be very helpful, 
however a generous reward is offered for documented proof of Thomas Ivory 
RUNYON's parents!

My ancestor, Martin Baker, moved to Garrard Co. from VA. in 1784 with wife 
Hannah Ann(?) and son, James. Possibly his two daughters, Henrietta and 
Elizabeth,came too. Martin died there in 1820. We are trying to confirm his 
birthdate and his birth place. James(1765-1845) continued living there with 
wife, Elizabeth Fuqua, and had seven children, including another Martin.

& Lucetta got pension under the name Maria L. HAYS. Isaac claimed to be 102 but 
I don't think he was that old. His mother signed for him to get md. in 1813. His 
father was killed after his sister was born by indians yr. unkown. Would

Would like info on John McAfee fm the Garrard 1800/1820/1830 censuses. A John 
McAfee of KY died in the 1830's and four of his heirs were my g-grandfather & 
his brothers in Ray County, MO. Their father, Elijah McAfee, had already died by 
the time the estate was distributed ca 1863. Have seen a transcribed copy of a 
will of John McAfee of Garrard county mentioning an Elijah. This John was 
married to a woman named Dicey who died ca 1860. Elijah may have had a sister 
named Elvira, who married a Marcus Renfro and moved to Ray Co. ca 1844, and a 
brother or possibly a cousin, Andrew, who had also relocated to Ray County by 
1844.

I am researching a book on the St. Albans Raid of 19 October 1864. It is my 
understanding that James Alexander Doty one of the raiders was a farmer in 
Garrard Co. He also served several terms as Co. Clerk. Is there anything in the 
way of articles or speeches that he might have given which pertain to the St. 
albans Raid? If so, would it be possible that I might obtain copies of same? It 
is possible that Raiders Thomas Collins and Samuel Lackey might have been from 
Garrard as well - but they may have been from Jessamine, as was the leader of 
the raid Bennett Young, or Madison. The same query applies to them as well as 
any other of the raiders who might have been from there.

Looking for info on a ROBERT HENRY born in Ireland in 1740. Married a JANE BRANK 
on 16 Dec 1790. They are buried in Paint Lick Cemetery. They lived in Garrard 
Co, KY. In the year 1788, Robert owned land in Silver Creek, KY. Jane Brank had 
a brother ROBERT BRANK (1760-1846) who also lived in Garrard Co, KY. He was an 
elder in the Presbyterian Church. The will of Robert Henry was probated in Feb 
1837. Their children were MARY HENRY, RACHEL HENRY, ELIZABETH HENRY, JAMES HENRY 
and ROBERT BRANK HENRY. Robert Brank Henry, Jr. married a MARY BOYER in 1815. 
They had a son ROBERT BRANK HENRY who had children named JAMES HENRY, MARY 
HENRY, BARNET G HENRY, ELIZA HENRY, HARVEY HENRY and GARLAND HENRY. Any info can

Died in either 1911 or 1919. Lived in Rockcastle County--probably all of his

MARY, lived at one time in Crab Orchard. Believe he was the grandson of WILLIAM

census. I have a DAVID RADCLIFF who appears in the Jackson Co. Ohio 1820 census 
and I am trying to determine if they are the same individual. DAVID was born in 
1786, JOHN was born in 1788, and RICHARD was born in 1738. JOHN married Martha 
Adams on Aug 14, 1808, he died about 1834 in Shelby, Boyle Co. Richard is from

soldier in the 8th Ky Vol Cav.He was in a charge of some rebel soldiers and was 
thrown from his horse and then the horse fell on him causing his death. Where is 
he buried? He was married to Sophia Wesley, of Casey Co. who after his death 
married John Barber of Marion Co. Ashley Warren was born in Garrard Co. Ky. 
about 1836. I think Ashley died in Washington Co.Ky. They all had lived in
