Hiram T DeMoss
Hiram T. DeMoss, 77, of Madisonville, died at 5:30am Friday, June 30,
1995, at his residence.
Born Aug. 8, 1917 in Hanson, he was the son of the late James Sherman DeMoss and Addie Rebecca Davis.
He was a retired farmer and seam welder at the York Plant in Madisonville. He was a member of the Greater Lighthouse Pentecostal Church and served with the US Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by one sister and eight brothers. He is survived by his wife, Willie Hazel Coffman DeMoss of Madisonville; four daughters, Patricia Anne DeMoss of Evansville, Rebecca Gail DeMoss and Mrs. Richard (Karen) LeGrand, both of Madisonville, and Mrs. Larry (Sharon) Harper of Harrisonburg, VA; one son Hiram Glenn DeMoss of Madisonville; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be today at 3:30pm in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Alvey officiating. Entombment will be in the mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville.
Pallbearers will be Gary Seton, Terry Seton, Jim DeMoss, Ed DeMoss, Danny Coffman, Carroll LeGrand and Terry Hamp.
