Estell E Kirkwood

Estell E. Kirkwood, 79. of Rt. 1, Trion Ga. formerly of Hopkins Co., died 5:35 p.m. Tuesday in Park Ridge, Tenn.

He was the son of the late Matthew Kirkwood and Cordelia Wyatt Kirkwood. He was a retired nursing home operator and a member of the Mountain View Baptist Church in Trion, and a former member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Madisonville.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dovie Lee Kirkwood, Rt. 1 Trion, Ga.; two step daughters, Mrs Peggy Matthews, Trio Ga., and Mrs. Greta Jo Nicholson, Marletta Ga.; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Belle Kirkwood, Brown Rd; six step-grandchildren.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Harris Funeral Chapel, with Rev. J.B. Wheeler and Rev. Archie Oliver officiating. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery.

Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. Friday morning until the funeral hour.
