While today's store sells gas, baseball cards and several other items, the store of yesterday was well known for selling mineral water. The well pump was located on the front porch of the grocery store and people came from all around to buy water from the well.
The area is residential today, with the exception of the grocery store. All signs of the old grocery are gone except for a small slab of concrete that marks the place of the old mineral well.
