Photographs and images of documents will be placed in the North Carolina USGenWeb Archives on a selective basis.
Photos of persons will normally be limited to those born prior to 1900. Photos must be accompanied by genealogical information which will be useful to family historians. Examples of such photos can be found at:
Photos of homes and other buildings will be limited to those that are of genealogical significance. An example of a photo can be found at:
Photos of tombstones may be submitted.

Images of documents must be accompanied by a transcription of the information on the document. The transcribed file is required for search engines to access the names of persons and places found on the image. An example of archived images can be found at:
