			MRS. M.L.SLOAN

Mrs. M.L. Sloan died Friday morning September 29, 1950,  just two days 
before her 89th birthday, after an illness of just a few days.   All of 
her surviving children were present at the time of her death.   Survivors
include Mrs. George Tindell with whom she made her home,  Mrs. Charles 
Ferguson, of Memphis Tennessee, Hall Green of Hope, Ervin Sloan of Steele
Missouri,  Auby Sloan of Arkadelphia and Marvin A. Sloan of Okolona, 16 
grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church Saturday at 2 p.m. with
Rev. E.T. McAfee, and Roy Houston in charge.   Active pallbearers were 
J.T. White, R.H. Patterson, Donald Patterson, Jess Jones, J.K. Davies and
Austin Rowe.   Interment was in the family cemetery.
