			MRS. SARAH THOMPSON

Mrs. Sarah Pennington Thompson, 76, of Arkadelphia, died Saturday in a 
hospital here.  She was the widow of Cliff Thompson.  She was born near 
here and was a member of the First Methodist Church.  Survivors include
three sons, Carroll Thompson of Arkadelphia,  Gaylon W. Thompson of 
Smackover and Sammy Thompson of Houston, Texas; a brother H.W. Pennington
of Tahoka Texas and 3 grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. today in the Murray Ruggles Funeral  Chapel
by Rev. Ferris Norton and Rev. Harvey Moore. Burial will be in Golden 
Cemetery.

(Mrs. Sarah Pennington Thompson is the sister of Emma Pennington Rowe)
