Smith
   Joe Smith, 86, of 441 Craighead Road 376, Bono, died Monday at his 
home.
   He spent most of his life in the Bono area.  He was retired from A&P 
Coop Factory.
   Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Olar Smith of the home; one son, 
Dewayne Smith of the home; two daughters, Lola Mae Hughes of Yakima, 
Wash., and Nola Lackey of Jonesboro; one sister, Mary Ann Thompson of 
Monette; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
   Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 10 in the chapel of 
Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro, with Byron Griffey officiating.  
Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
   Pallbearers will be Vondal Henson, Dale Tate, Hayward Tolbert, Dexter
Tate, Rusty Lackey, and T. A. Tate.
   Visitation will be from 5 until 8 this evening at the funeral home. .
