Ida E. Byrd
Mrs. Ida E. Byrd, 86, died Aug. 5 in the Hot Spring County Memorial
Hospital. She was born July 5, 1896 in Alabama and had lived here most 
of her life. She was married to the late Grover Byrd and was a member of
North Malvern Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are one son, Fred W. Byrd Sr. Of Pine Bluff; three daughters,
Edna Gibson of Malvern, Dora Rhodes and Sarah Ausema of Camden; one
sister, Maggie Hickman of Malvern; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-
grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p. m. Saturday in the North Malvern Assembly of 
God Church with Revs. Paul Grigsby and L. Smith officiating. Burial will 
be in Jones Cemetery near Brown Springs by Atkinson Funeral Home. 
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The body will lie in state one hour
prior to the funeral.
