Illness Fatal To Dent Brent
Dent Brent, aged 57, died Aug. 12, at 7:56 p. m. in the Hot Spring county
hospital. He was born Sept. 4, 1887, and lived his entire life here. He
was married Oct. 9, 1908 to Miss Clara McCanley.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Dent Brent; three daughters, Mrs. John
Lowery and Mrs. Mamie Greens of Malvern; and Mrs. Bill Sullivan of Pine
Bluff; one son Elbert L. Brent of the U. S. Army in Tuscon, Ariz.; two
brothers, Ding Brent of Ball, Calif., and Ernest Brent of Ouachita.
Funeral arrangements which are incomplete, will be announced by the
Cooper Funeral Co. (Malvern Dailey Record, Aug. 14, 1944)
