Father of Malvern Residents Dies; Funeral Wednesday
J. T. Cotton, aged 86, of Lonsdale (Saline County) died Monday. He was 
a retired farmer and a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillian Jones Cotton; three sons, 
Willy C. Cotton of Little Rock, Joe Bob Cotton and Leslie Cotton, both 
of Malvern; a daughter, Mrs. Porter Hensley of Benton; four brothers, 
George Cotton of Malvern, Charles Cotton of Fordyce, Jim Cotton of Mineral
Springs and John Cotton of Wickes; four sisters, Mrs. Effie Hendrick of
Oregon, Mrs. Roxie Tullis of Arizona, Mrs. Minnie Raines of Van Buren 
and Mrs. Rachel Tullis of Mineral Springs, 31 grandchildren and 49 great-
grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Ashby Funeral Chapel in Benton.
Burial will be at Big Creek Cemetery.
