Mrs. Mattie Cotton, Wife of Joe B. Cotton
Benton, Jan. 16.–Mrs. Mattie Cotton, aged 52, of near Benton, wife of 
Joe B. Cotton, died Monday at a Hospital here. Other survivors include 
three sons, Bobby Cotton of New Mexico, Loal Cotton of Benton and Lester 
Cotton of Haskell; four daughters, Mrs. Lillian Sprague of Texas, Mrs. 
Jane Blair of Haskell, Mrs. Lucy Simmons of Traskwood and Miss Shirley 
Cotton of Benton; her mother, Mrs. Mittie Burnett of Little Rock; three
brothers, Frank Ellis, Albert Ellis and Wilborn Ellis, all of Little 
Rock and six grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by 
Ashby Funeral Service.
