MALVERN -- Mary Virginia Steed, age 90, of Malvern died Tuesday, Feb. 
11, 1997. She was a member of the Third Baptist Church of Malvern and 
a homemaker.
   Survivors are son, Dale Steed of Malvern; four daughters, Virginia 
Snider of Kilgore, Texas, Claxene Jay of Jacksonville, Texas, Glenda 
Steed of Malvern, Arksansas, Jean Langford of Ft. Worth, Texas; three sisters, Annie Maude May of Okolona, Louise Calhoun of Arkadelphia, 
Clara Jane Hall of Crossett; sister-in-law, Frances Meador of Fordyce, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; six great-great-
grandchildren.
   Funeral services are 2 p.m. today, Feb. 13, 1997, at the Third Baptist
Church of Malvern with Rev. Rick Hyde officiating.
   Burial in Rose Hedge Cemetery under the direction of Home Funeral Home 
of Gurdon.
