Dewey G. Stanley
Dewey G. Stanley, age 86, died February 17, in St. Vincent Infirmary in
Little Rock. Mr. Stanley, who was a native of Malvern where he was
born, March 11, 1911, resided for a number of years in Oregon. He returned to
Malvern in 1960 and was a retired lumber company employe and a Baptist.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Angie Robinson Stanley; two sons, Martin Stanley
of Portland, Ore. And George Stanley of Sandy, Ore.; one daughter, Mrs. Margie
Sellek of Portland, Ore.; one brother, Woodrow Stanley of Jones Mill and 13
grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at two o’clock in the chapel of
Atkinson Funeral Home with Rev. J. C. Lemons officiating. Burial will
be in Big Creek Cemetery. (Malvern Dailey Record, Feb. 18, 1980)
