Carrie M. Stanley
Carrie Marie Stanley, 76, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 1989 in the Hot Spring
County Memorial Hospital. She was born Sept. 3, 1912 in Lewis County,
Tennessee, was a housewife, daughter of the late Frank R. And Sara E.
Hensley Pevehouse and a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Woodrow L. Stanley of Malvern; four sons,
Charles D. Stanley of Springdale, Ark., James M. Stanley, Donald W. Stanley
and Wm. M. “Billy” Stanley, all of Malvern; five daughters, Frances S. Layman,
Margaret A. Stacy, Ethel L. Nix and Linda F. Faingnaert, all of Malvern and
Glenda M. Thompson of Benton; three sisters, Versa Kind and Mrs. Pete Woodall,
both of California and Minda Johnson of Hot Springs; 19 grandchildren and 16
great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were 10 a.m. today in Ouachita Cemetery with Eld. Marion
Harmon and Rev. Pat Titsworth officiating, under the direction of Atkinson
Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Bill Smith, J. L. Kemp, Dean Hood, Jasper Kemp, Ken Anderson
