Well Known Resident Dies
The funeral services of Mrs. Thursa Stanley, 83, wife of the late Pete
Stanley, died yesterday afternoon at 4:30 after a lingering illness at
the home of her son, Tom Stanley on Highway 67.
Mrs. Stanley was a member of the Baptist Church and was well known in
this county where she had lived her entire life.
Those surviving her are three sons, J. E. And Tom of Malvern and G. W.
Of Lake Village, two daughters, Mrs. Eliza Bell Brown of Washington and
Mrs. ____ Hass of Markle, Texas.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at the residence of Tom Stanley
with Rev. L. M. Keeling in charge.
Interment was at Harp Cemetery with Cooper Funeral Home in charge of
arrangement.
Active Pallbearers were J. E.____, A. I. Roland, Will Hollis, Tom____,
