WATSON -- Cleo Orville Wells, 85, of Watson, died Monday at Jefferson
Regional Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 12, 1919, at Jessieville, a son of the late Guy Robert
Wells and Ivy Lee Humphrey Wells.
He was the owner and operator of the Gulf Service Station at Watson.
He was a member of First Assembly of God Church at Watson.
He served in the military during World War II.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Wells; and a brother,
Clifford Wells.
Survivors include one son, Roger Wells of Mountain Pine; three 
daughters, Norma Jean Kennedy of Watson, Joyce Peacock of Selma and 
Betty Sandifer of McGehee; one brother, Robert "Sammy" Wells of Watson; 
one sister, Ora Mae Knabe of Florence, Ala.; 10 grandchildren; and six 
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at First Assembly of God
Church at Watson with the Rev. Leonard Ricketts officiating. Burial 
will be in Watson Cemetery by Griffin Funeral Service at McGehee.
