Donald Eugene Williams 31 Jul 1998 Pine Bluff Commercial

Donald Eugene Williams, age 79, of Sherrill, Ark., Jefferson Conty died
July 30, 1998.  He and his wife, Oca McElroy, have been residents of
Westlake Living Center in Sherwood since 1992.  Mr. Williams was born 
in Casa, Ark., and moved to Sherrill in  1942. He was a retired farmer 
of 40 years, in Jefferson County. He was recognized for the bale of 
cotton in 1958. Mr. Williams was a member of the First Missionary 
Baptist Church of Sherrill and joined the Calvary Missionary Baptist 
Church in Sherwood during 1997.
His survivors include his wife, Oca McElroy of Sherwood; four sons, 
Bobby of Keo, James of Pine Bluff, Marvin of Sherrill, Stanley of 
Altheimer; two daughters, Pam Mauldin of Conway and Linda Watts of Pine Bluff; 
10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Delbert Williams 
of Perryville; and one sister, Hazel Adkinson of England.
Visitation with family will be 7 to 9 p.m. today, July 31, 1998, at the
Roller-England Funeral Home in England. Services will be held at 10 
a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, 1998, at Roller-England Funeral home with Bro. 
Jim Smith officiating.
Interment will be at Mulberry Cemetery in England. Pallbearers will be
grandsons. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary
Missionary Baptist Church, 200 Brockington Drive, Sherwood, Ark., 
72120.
