Charles Edward Helms Jan 10, 1969 Jonesboro Sun

 Ed Helms, 91, of Walnut Ridge died early today in Lawrence Hall at 
Walnut Ridge folowing several months illness.
Born at Evening Shade, he came to Lawrence County 80 years ago. He was a
retired farmer and was of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Louise Newton of Walnut
Ridge, Mrs. Pauline Luster of Kansas city, MO.; two sons, Maxie Helms of
Hallandale, Fla., Bill Nance of Walnut Ridge; two sisters; four 
grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2pm. at Bryan chapel with Rev. Glynn 
Campbell officiating.
Burial will be in Lawrence Memorial Park. Under the direction of Bryan 
Funeral Home of Hoxie.
