Robert Davis 12-14-1973 THE EVENING TIMES

ROBERT DAVIS
  Robert Davis of Proctor died Wednesday at John Gaston Hospital at
Memphis.
  The body will lie in state from 7 to 9 pm. Saturday at Anthony Funeral
Home's chapel at Neuhardt.  Services will be at 11 am Sunday at 
Campbell Chapel Church at Edmondson with burial in Pilgrim's Cemetery at 
Marianna.
  Mr. Davis leaves his wife, Mrs. Annie Davis; six daughters, Mrs. Lula
Moton of St Louis; Mrs. Bobbie Lee Henderson and Mrs. Bertha Lee Davis,
both of Proctor; Mrs. Albert Gilliam, Chicago; and Mrs. Mable Collins 
and Mrs. Shirley Ann Williams, both of Pine Bluff; four sons, Willie Davis,
St. Louis; Orleon Davis, Pine Bluff; Leslie Davis, Jackson, Mich.; and
Thomas Davis, stationed with the Army in the Panama Canal Zone; a 
sister, Mrs. Cordelia Witherspoon of Edmondson; a brother, Leslie Carter of
Hughes; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
