She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church. Survivors include two sons, Jerry McFall of Hot Springs and Kenneth Muckleroy of Las Vegas; three daughters, Mrs. Bill Beckett of Little Rock, Mrs. Madie Reeves of Bethany, Missouri, and Mrs. Thelma Sagel of Elvins, Missouri; two stepsons, Howard Muckleroy and Classiford Muckleroy, both of Star City; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Fred Owens of Little Rock; and two sisters, Mrs Azalene Cook of California and Mrs. Nora Cook of Bismarck. Funeral services were today at United Pentecostal Church by Reverend Bobby Batson and Reverend Donald Atkinson. Burial was in Hickory Grove Cemetery by Buie Funeral Home of Star City. Lincoln County: C. C. Muckleroy Classiford Curtis Muckleroy of Star City, died Wednesday at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Little Rock. A lifelong resident of Lincoln County, he was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Star City and had served in the armed forces during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Odessa Muckleroy; a brother, Kenneth Muckleroy of Shreveport; and two sisters, Mrs. Ada Owens of Little Rock and Mrs Ellen Beckett of Arkansas. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Friday at the First Freewill Baptist Church by Reverend Bob Francis and Reverend Carl Chesier. Burial will be in Leek Cemetery at Star City by Griffin Funeral Home of Star City. Pallbearers will be nephews. The family requests that memorials take the form of donations to the Freewill Baptist Church. ODESSA MUCKLEROY Odessa Martin Muckleroy, 80. pf Star City, died March 26, 1995, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born September 5, 1914, in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Kinsler Ray Martin and Estelle O'Neal Martin. She was the widow of Classiford Muckleroy. Survivors include four sisters, Maurine Kirkpatrick of Seattle, Juanita Brockman of Star City, Frances Smock and Kientzene Felice, both of Spokane, Washington. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Free Will Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Randy Scott and Dwayne Roper officiating. Burial will be in Leek Cemetery near Star City by Griffin Funeral Home of Star City. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. He was a retired service station attendant. Survivors include a son, Billy R. Muckleroy of Benton; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Lou McHugo of Deer Lodge, Montana, and Mrs Jan Vaughn of Irving, Texas; two brothers, Classiford Muckleroy of Star City and Kenneth Muckleroy of Langley Air Force Base, Virginia; two sisters, Mrs. Ada Owens and Mrs. Ellen Beckett of Little Rock; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. today at Griffin Funeral Home here by Reverend Gary Thomas. Burial was in Hickory Grove Cemetery near here. BILLY MUCKLEROY Funeral services for Billy Muckleroy, 13, of Star City, who died at a Dumas Hospital Monday Night, after being accidentally shot near his home Saturday Night, were held yesterday afternoon at the Star City Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Pastor, the Rev. J. W. McCain. Burial was in Hickory Grove Cemetery in charge of Holderness-South Mortuary. Billy was shot when a .22 rifle in the hands of a young companion, Perry Hunter, with whom he had been horseback riding, was discharged as young Hunter was dismounting from his horse. The bullet struck Billy, still on his horse, in the hip and raged upward, causing an injury which resulted in his death Monday Night. Published in the Pine Bluff Commercial, September 26, 1969. JETTIE MUCKLEROY Jettie Muckleroy, 63, of Yorktown, Lincoln County, died Tuesday in a Little Rock Hospital. He was a retired farmer. A native of Yorktown, he was a son the the late J. W. and Minnie Russ Muckleroy. Surviving are his stepmother, Mrs. J. W. Muckleroy of Yorktown, a brother, Jeff Muckleroy of Yorktown; a half-brother, Joe Muckleroy of Yorktown; a sister, Mrs. Omit Hunter of Mesquite, Texas; seven half-sisters, Mrs. Harold Roberts, Mrs. elton Jones, Mrs. Cecil Yeager and Mrs. Ann Felts, all of Pine Bluff, Mrs Monroe Gover of Ozark, Mrs. Grover Boyd of West Memphis and Mrs. Orvil Lambert of Victoria, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Yorktown Free Will Baptist Church by Reverend Eugene White and Reverend Gene Smith. JAMES MUCKLEROY James Muckleroy, 59, farmer and saw mill operator, a resident of Lincoln County all his life, died Wednesday night at 7 o'clock at his home in Yorktown, following an illness of pneumonia, lasting about 2 weeks. Mr. Muckleroy who owned and operated a saw mill at Yorktown for the past 15 years was well know throughout this section of the state. He was a member of the Yorktown Baptist Church. In addition to his widow, the former Miss Olga Ellen Scifres, he is survived by eight daughters; The Misses Patricia Ann, Betty Jo, Marcelle, Maxine, Geraldine, Emma Jean, and Iva Muckleroy, all of Yorktown, and Mrs. Oma Hunter of Warren, Ark.; three sons, Jettie, Jeff and Bailey Muckleroy of Yorktown; a sister, Mrs Mary Mullikin of Oklahoma and other relatives. Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon from the Baptist Church at Yorktown. Burial was in the family lot in White Cemetery in charge of Ralph Robinson & Son Mortuary. W. S. MUCKLEROY William Scott Muckleroy, 91, of Star City, died in Little Rock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Bill Beckett. He was a retired millwright. Mr. Muckleroy was born in Mississippi. He was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church. Other survivors are his wife, Mrs. Donnie Muckleroy of Star City; three sons, Classiford C. Muckleroy of Star City, Howard Muckleroy of Pine Bluff and Kenneth Muckleroy of Satellite Beach, Florida; another daughter, Mrs. Fred Owens of Little Rock; a stepson, Jerry McFall of Hot Springs; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Madie Reeves of Hot Springs and Mrs. Ben Sagel of Festus, Missouri; 18 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at First Pentecostal Church of Star City by Reverend Donald Atkinson, and Reverend Carl Cheshire. Burial wil be in Hickory Grove Cemetery by Buie Funeral Home of Star City. Muckleroy of Star City, died at the home of his parents at 12:30 o'clock this afternoon after a four day illness with colitis. In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister, Miss Ada Muckleroy. Arrangements for funeral are in charge of Holerness-Thornhill Mortuary and announcements will be made later.
