Submitted by Linda Howard Isbell Email: risbell@zianet.com Fanny Goff, maiden name Tidwell, was born November 15, 1837 near Hickison Ford, Washburn Creek, and was married to John H. Goff April 12, 1856. She first united with the Christian church at the age of about twelve years, and in August, 1889 united with the Glendale Baptist church, being baptized by Rev. D. M. Bryant, where she remained a faithful member until death. Her death occurred February 13, 1911. She was seventy-three years, two months, and twenty-eight days of age. her husband and nine children survive her. Three children died in infancy. Fifty-one grand children and twenty great grandchildren survive her. Altogether, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, number one hundred. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Bryant at the Glendale cemetery, near Booneville, February 15, 1911. Mother is not dead, but resting.
