Mr. Edward Howard died at the residence of his son-in-law, Mr. Levi McCloud 
in Lonoke, Monday evening, November 21 in his 74th year of life. He was 
born in Albany, New York. Learned the humble trade of Blacksmithing in 
early manhood which he followed up to the time of his death - with perhaps 
a few months interruption caused by dropsey of the heart - from which 
disease he breathed his last in the presense of his grown up family of 
children.
