The remains were brought here for burial in the Janes Cemetery. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Andy Lincoln of Jonesboro after which the Masonic Order took charge. A large crowd of relatives and friends witnessed the ceremonies. The children who were present were A. L. and Carson Lane and Mrs. Jim Spaulding of Detroit, Michigan, T. R. L. Lane of Gatewood, MO and Bernard Lane of Williford. (AR Death certificate for John Cole Lane revealed d.o.d. MOLLIE LANE TO BE BURIED TODAY Mrs. Mollie Beck Lane, a native of Missouri, who lived at Ravenden Springs for a great number of years, passed away Sunday in a Detroit, Michigan Hospital. She had made her home in Detroit with her children for the past two years. In 1895 she was married to John Cole Lane, who passed away in 1927. She was a Baptist. Survivors are five sons, Arthur, Imboden; Orville, Detroit; Carson, Roseville, Mich.; Kennard, Detroit; Bernard, Nareo, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Johnnie Fitzgerald, Nareo, Calif.; and Mrs. Willie Knott, Detroit; one stepson, Reynold Lane, Ann Arbor, Mich.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Hattie Spaulding, Royal Oak, Mich.; one brother, Alfred Beck, Ravenden; two sisters, Mrs. Harriett Wyatt, Birmingham, Ala.; and Mrs. Mirtie Jenkins, Ravenden Springs; 21 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Ravenden Springs Baptist Church by Rev. B. E. Rickman. Interment will be in Janes Cemetery under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Home. (Mollie Lane died 8 May 1955.)
