Erie Lee (RAY) Childress Obituary;
The Benton Courier, Thursday, January 1, 1942, p. 3, Obituaries
Mrs. Eria Childress, aged fifty-eight years, died at her home near
Bauxite Sunday.  She is survived by her husband, John B. Childress; six
sons, Ray, Charles, George and John Henry of Bauxite, Clarence of New
York and Ralph Childress of South Dakota; three daughters, Mrs. Ethel
Harris of Hot Springs and the Misses Nellie and Adell Childress of
Bauxite; a brother, Garnet Ray of Prattville, and two sisters, Mrs.
Georgia Taylor of Texarkana and Mrs. Rena Milham of Benton.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Mount Olive church by
Rev. Homer Lasater.
