Agnes Fletcher 10/13/1921 Benton Courier

   Memory of Agnes Fletcher. The death angel came and visited the home of 
L F James and took away his own Coy. She had lived with him for several
years. She ahd now became as one of the family. She was a mother in our
country. She was growing old, ninety-two years old. She had lived a
Christian life thirty-five years. We all feel as though she is resting 
in the arms of Jesus. She was loved by all who knew her.
   She leaves the homes now lonely, and also the whole neighborhood. She
passed away at 10:35 o'clock Friday, September 30, and was laid to rest
at C D Ewell's on Saturday evening October 1. She was old and feeble, 
but still we all loved her, and she will be sadly missed here in our
community.
   All was done for her that loving hands could do by Dr. Davis, friends 
and relatives. We sure do thank our friends for their help while her 
illness, she was only sick seven days till God saw that he must call 
her home to rest.
   We know she feared no evil to go through the Valley and God blessed her
while she was going through. We all want to live a life that we can  meet 
her up in Heaven, where we will never part and shed any more tears.
   Bro. Tom Green conducted the funeral services.
