Melba A. Rodgers
  Melba Akins Rodgers of Benton died Tuesday. She was 68. She was a 
retired accountant and Baptist.
  Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Pam Rodgers of
Batesville; a daughter, Charlotte Leblanc of Houston, Texas; two 
sisters, Jewell Brown of Benton and Jean Hindmon of Huntsville, Texas; 
two granddaughters, Chantel Shemwell of Houston, and Bobbie Frelan of 
Derby, Kan.; and two great-grandchildren.
  Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ballard Funeral Home with the Rev.
Harold Stephens officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Olive 
Cemetery.
  Pallbearers will be Larry Fite, Dorrell Fite, Gary Brown, Dwight Brown,
Sebert Magby and Dwight Fite.
  The family will be at 300 E. Conway St. in Benton. Memorials may be 
made to Trinity Baptist Church, 702 Church St., Benton AR 72015.
